About us
My name is Michelle and I am the founder of 'Leicestershire Rook Rescue’ my mum Janina and my boyfriend Alan both help to realise my dream of helping all corvid’s and to make sure there is always someone to help whenever these birds are in need.
We are based in Leicestershire and the rescues are carried out entirely voluntarily and funded by ourselves.
Our birds are always given the highest level of care, due to our combined experience and my experience having worked in a veterinary practice and having studied animal care at college.
The birds are all treated like members of the family and are cared for in the most natural setting as possible.
We have resident Rooks, Crows, Jackdaws, Magpies and Pigeons.
